Master of Landscape Architecture (Sep 2021 - May 2024)

I began my graduate degree immediately after completing my bachelors degree during the Fall 2021 term. After completing the necessary course work by the Winter 2023 term, I began working on my thesis practicum. My thesis practicum topic involved integrating ecologically functioning wetlands into a tributary of the Red River to improve it's water quality and exploring the form this might take, and exploring what an intervention at the regional scale could look like. At the beginning of the Winter 2024 term, I joined the Future Elements Studio and began work on a team research paper that aimed to refine and define the level of detail for urban elements by integrating geometric and attribute data. In October 2024, I graduated from the University of Manitoba with my Master of Landscape Architecture degree, followed by the publishing of our research paper in December 2024.

Bachelor of Environmental Design (Sep 2016 - May 2021)

After graduating from high school in June 2016 I started my first year of university in the U1 Program for Fall 2016/Winter 2017, taking a wide variety of courses to get an idea of several different fields of study. For my second year, I transferred into the Faculty of Science (General) for Fall 2017/Winter 2018 and applied to the Faculty of Architecture Environmental Design program for the following Fall 2018/Winter 2019 school year. Throughout the year in Environmental Design 2, I gained further interest in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design which led me to apply for the Landscape + Urbanism option for Environmental Design 3 for the Fall 2019/Winter 2020 year. At the start of my final year in the Environmental Design program, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, starting the following year, in the Fall 2021 term.
